About usable car model

The OBD Driver is usable by many cars. If your car has an OBD2 connector like this , it is usable without a problem.
OBD2 connector
OBD Driver can detect following protocols automatically.
SAE J1850 PWM (41.6Kbps)
SAE J1850 VPW (10.4Kbps)
ISO 9141-2 (5 baud init)
ISO 14230-4 KWP (5 baud init)
ISO 14230-4 KWP (fast init)
ISO 15765-4 CAN (11 bit ID 500Kbps)
ISO 15765-4 CAN (29 bit ID 500Kbps)
ISO 15765-4 CAN (11 bit ID 250Kbps)
ISO 15765-4 CAN (29 bit ID 250Kbps)
SAE J1939 CAN (29 bit ID 250Kbps)


You can choose following protocols manually.
ISO CAN 11bit ID ECU 0,2 ( This is better than "Automatic" for CAN.)
ISO CAN 29bit ID ECU 0,2 ( This is better than "Automatic" for CAN.)

TOYOTA K-LINE
SUZUKI K-LINE 1 - 9

How to choose the protocol ?
1. Connect the ELM327 Bluetooth Adapter to the OBD2 connector.
2. Turn your engine. or turn on IG.
3. Run the app.
4. In the opening screen , the app start a communication with a car via OBD device, the purple bar move to the right edge.
5. Press the "Protocol settings" button and then choose a communication protocol from list.
6. Press the "Save the settings" button.
7. In the opening screen , the purple bar go to the right edge.



For Japanese car users

Many Japanese car has maker original protocols. ( Not ISO protocols )
Please see the following list, and then please set a communication protocol in the opening screen.
